Wrinkled doll outfit

Thanks Dionne. It sounds like the one in Joy's Restoration album. From what I understand, you can use the plastic ones on the doll hair to smooth it out. I was wondering how it worked on the clothes. I'm going to have to find one of those!!

Dionne, do you have the compact steamer that a lot of board members use for doll hair? I really have to get one of those!
retrow, I have ironed Kirsten's meet dress and it looks so much better, but it is a pain to iron those little clothes! Actually, it's a pain ironing ANY clothes!!

I have a small handheld hard plastic travel steamer that my Nana bought at a thrift store a few years ago. I can get right up on the wrinkle with it. I'm not sure what the brand is because all of the writing was rubbed off. I can try and get a picture of it if that would help.

Joann's (and other stores, I'm sure) sell a tiny iron that is used for heat transfers, embroidery, etc. The heated plate is shaped like a regular iron, but it's about 2" long. It's on a longer, narrow handle. It's great for getting wrinkles out of doll clothes, especially pleats and tiny collars.
